Meet Gianna
Gianna (she/her) is an actor, singer, and teaching artist born and raised in New Jersey… where she still resides due to her undying Jersey pride. As a small child, she performed one woman versions of her favorite Disney films - complete with costume changes - every afternoon, much to the amusement of her parents. By age 5, she started performing in community theatre and has continued learning and performing ever since.
Gianna holds a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (London). She has worked regionally in theatre and entertainment, as well as on screen, on tour, and in concert. She even worked as a singing waitress for a time! No matter the medium, Gianna is passionate about collaborating with other artists and creating meaningful experiences for audiences.
Outside of performing, Gianna works consistently as a Teaching Artist, working with students of varying ages and skill levels. She is passionate about helping students build confidence and self-esteem through musical theatre and acting training.
Gianna is currently an Equity Membership Candidate (EMC).
